The Gulf of Mexico

Venture into the vast Gulf of Mexico waters where it is common to face bait balls as big as a house, Goliath Grouper the size of small vehicles, rays, shark and too many types of fish to list. Explore miles of sea-floor ledges, historical shipwrecks and even an aircraft carrier. Depths range from 15 to well over 100 feet, and virtually every gulf dive is teaming with marine life. The warm Florida waters are perfect for diving 9 months out of the year.

Florida Inland Springs

Ponce de Leon believed Florida’s crystal-clear, gorgeous springs were the “Fountain of Youth.” Divers know these freshwater springs as awesome displays of Florida’s underwater goodness. There are as many as 600 freshwater springs in North and Central Florida, some of which reach depths of up to a mile, while others are quite shallow. Typically, Florida springs stay around 72 degrees year-round, making them an incredible diving option, especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Florida’s East Coast & The Keys

East Coast diving typically starts in the West Palm Beach area and runs south through the Florida Keys. The water is much clearer in South Florida, making the underwater world and marine life most spectacular to explore! Rich with more than 40 living coral species, 650 varieties of fish, and numerous shipwrecks (both accidental and intentional), exciting exploration is endless in the Keys. These waters are considered tropical, making them great for scuba diving year-round!
